Blesseth He That Readeth

The Testimony of Jesus Christ

The Book of Revelation begins with a Blessing to those faithful souls who venture to read the Revelation of Jesus Christ.  John the Apostle, living in the days of the premier nation on earth at the time the Roman Empire, and under Roman rule by the Emperor Domitian. The Christian community suffers persecution; And John is exiled to the isle of Patmos for sharing the Gospel message, the redemption through the Son of the living God Jesus Christ. In a time of tribulation John shares all things that he saw. Revelation 1:2, Who bared record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

John cordially greets fellow believers as it is written in Revelation 1:4, John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne,

King Jesus Christ

Author Annette K. Mazzone writes a detailed account of the lives of faithful characters to the God of the Bible living in the challenging time referred to in the Bible as the ‘Great Tribulation‘as it is written in Matthew 24:21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time. No, nor ever shall be.

The story entitled Lily Among Thorns Song of Solomon 2:2 In the Last Days 2nd Peter 3:3 is a harrowing adventurous read, and delves into the daily lives of each character who is humbled by the decision to accept the ‘Wisdom of the Ages’, the Saviour and Lord, King Jesus Christ! This being deemed as not a trivial commitment with persecution on the rise under a Beast Regime.

Revealed within the subtitle of Lily Among Thorns, is the ‘Beauty of Innocence’ living in challenging times as it is written in Song of Solomon 2:2, As a lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.

The subtitle also speaks of Scoffers and or slanderers in the ‘Last Days’ as it is written in 2nd Peter 3:3, Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts.

A Breaking Point

The rebellion against God comes to the pinnacle of cruelty when the earth is awash with the blood of the saints as it is written in Revelation 13:15, And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Long Suffering

The Lord is long suffering, and is out to save humanity from the wiles of that ancient foe, the ‘Old Serpent’ as it is written in 2nd Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance.

Rescue  Humanity

The earth is turned into such a chaotic state under the final treacherous empire of the enemy that ‘Old Serpent’ of whom the Holy Scriptures gives a cautionary warning to humanity ascribed to the adversary the devil as it is written in 1st Peter 5:8, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

The ‘Word’ speaks of the Lord Jesus Christ must shorten the days of chaos for the righteous sake as it is written in Mark 13:20, And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elects sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shorten the days.

Deliver Us

The believer is also to pray to escape all that is to come upon the earth as it is written in Luke 21:36, Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

The Lord’s prayer ends with deliverance from evil as it is written in Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,  for ever. Amen!

The believer can find deliverance from evil as it is written in Galatians 1:4, 5, Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from the Lord Christ. Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from the present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen!

What Kind of Evil

The treachery of the End of Days will go unparalleled in history. The faithful in Christ Jesus can read this as it is written in Matthew 24:21, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

The world has gone astray as it is written in Jude 1:11, Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Not Appointed to Wrath

The Bible says not appointed to wrath. We read 1st Thessalonians 5:9, For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

The Beloved

The Beloved is once again given the cautionary warning of Scoffers and Mockers who are to come in the ‘Last Time,’ as it is written in Jude 1: 17, 18, But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

The Beloved triumphs in Christ Jesus, as it is written in 2nd Corinthians 2:14, Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the saviour of his knowledge by us in every place.

The Free Gift of Salvation

Accept the free gift of salvation as it is written in Romans 5:15, But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

The Lord God is ever ready to give freely the gift of salvation as it is written in Romans 5:18, Therefore as by the offense of one judgement came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Unto Eternal Life

We read of the eternal love of God unto salvation in 1st John 4:9, In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

We are always living in Bible Times, and the love of God is reaching out to humanity to accept the free gift of salvation unto life eternal as it is written in Jude 1:21, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal LIFE! AMEN!
