The announcement was then made for the passengers to prepare for the landing, and by the time we had landed and got all are bags squared away. It was fast approaching six o’clock Sunday evening.

Jared then surprised me when he drove passed the exit to his place. I brought this to his attention thinking he may have missed it. He answered rather mysteriously, and I knew then he had something up his sleeve. But no matter how hard I tried to cajole it out of him, he wouldn’t let me in on his plans and nothing annoys me more than to be left in the dark.

“I got you a job where I work, and you’ll be working in my division as a filling clerk. I know it’s not much. But it’s the best I could do under such short notice.”

“Jared, you don’t have to apologize. This is great news.”

No longer able to contain myself this time around, I not only gave Jared a well deserved hug, but a super smack on his right check. When I leaned back to face him, he looked so silly with this big ol’grin on his face as he then went on to fill me in on even more of the details.

Appreciating all of his efforts, I said, taking hold of his hand. “I can’t wait to go to work tomorrow, and you know why? Because I’ll be seeing you tomorrow, and now that I’ve just gotten used to the idea of having you around again, I have to readjust my thinking and get used to the idea of being alone all over again.”

“You’ll do just fine. But I know what you mean, because it’s going to be rough going back to an empty apartment. But we both know it’s for the best, and the alternative would just be too difficult.”

“Yes, I know. But I do find it so very hard to always find myself having to say goodbye to you.”

HOME is where the heart is and so it goes for two young lovers Lily and Caleb.  Providence which had seen fit to bring them together. Has now set them apart and Lily feeling the grievous pains of separation from all she had ever known and loved, which includes the love of family.

She is now on a flight HOME she regards as the dearest place on earth ‘HOME to Picturesque Colorado.’ The future for Lily is now and as she begins to focus on her own forlorn emotional status without her Beloved Caleb at her side. This brings her to a most regrettable outcome, and just perhaps a reunification with Caleb is nothing more than wishful thinking, and it was all meant to be just a Beautiful fanciful dream after all. 

Lily considering her circumstances in a more practical sense, knowing in her heart the very same amiable virtues she so admires in Caleb, are the very same qualities that shall keep them apart by a Worldly Beastly Cabal of whom had locked away her Beloved in a ‘Citadel of Evil’ to threw away the KEY!

And why is Lily’s Beloved Caleb ill-fated never to experience the Blessed light of Freedom and Liberty in the light of day ever again. Caleb’s crime is his Christian faith to chose the simple gospel message of the free gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. And to refuse the tyranny of bondage of lies and deceit by the aged enemy that ‘Old Serpent’ as it is written in Colossians 2:8, Beware lest any man spoil you philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Divine intervention it appears has now ascribed Lily to Jared’s company. But most regrettable for Lily, her most recent past has a way of coming between her efforts to move forward and her now relationship with Jared. And quite akin to Jared’s authenticity of character hearkens her back to what had attracted her to Jared in their initial encounter.

But her present woes weigh heavily upon Lily’s emotions and she looks to the solid foundational guidance of the Holy Scriptures to comfort her most assuredly in her lonesomeness, and through prayer and supplication. Lily takes to heart the promises of her ‘beloved HOME’ in Christ Jesus as it is written in Hebrews 3:6, But Christ as a son over his own house, whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
