[1] I Happily stood up along with the sparse congregation of a dozen or so people, and always fond of the acoustics in our little church in unison we began singing the opening hymn.

[2] In The Bleak Midwinter
Written by Christina Georgina Rosseti
In The Year Of Our Lord, 1872
In the bleak midwinter frosty wind made moan, earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone: snow on snow, snow on snow, I the bleak midwinter long ago.
Our God, heaven cannot hold him, nor earth sustain; heaven and earth shall flee away when he comes to reign: in the bleak midwinter a stable place sufficed the Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ.
Enough for Him, whom cherubim Worship night and day, A breastful of milk And a managerful of hay; Enough for Him, whom angels fall down before, The ox and ass and camel Which adore.
Angels and archangels may have gathered there, cherubim and seraphim thronged the air, but only his mother, in her maiden bliss, worshiped the beloved with a kiss.
What can I give Him, Poor as I am? If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb, If I were a wise man I would do my part, Yet what I can I give Him, Give my HEART.
I then resumed to take my seat and looked forward to hearing the pastor begin his sermon.

Sing Unto The Lord Author’s Commentary
[2] In faith Lily cheerfully sings unto the Lord within the depths of heartfelt gratitude for being reconciled to Father God as it is written in Romans 5:10, For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
The whole creation rejoices in unison for the love of God, of which Lily is a part. She joyfully expresses her love beaming brightly in song with the blessed assurance she is forevermore welcome in the cool of the garden to come boldly in the presence of the Lord as it is written in Hebrews 4:16, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

[1] The Character Lily expressing her love for the Lord in song and verse. She happily sings praises unto the Lord God with the insight of knowing as it is written in 1st John 4:9, In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Lily delights in communing with the Father God in song, and lifting up her voice in praise knowing her heart there is none the reason to hide evermore as it is written in Genesis 3:8, And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
